I have been working with children for over 15 years and cannot imagine a better job.  I am an employee of the Boulder Valley School District, working in the Special Ed program at Meadowlark K-8 School in Erie.  Previously, I was an Associate Program Director for the YMCA of Boulder Valley and a Assistant Director of skateboard camps.

I started skateboarding in 1985 and have never stopped.  Growing up in a military family, I moved all over the world and in a lot of different communities.  My skateboard was not only my constant companion, but served as my gateway to some of the best memories, experiences, and friendships .  Skateboarding shaped me into who I am and has not only kept me active over the years, but has also kept me engaged, aware, and involved in my community.

I have had a few sponsors over the years, have appeared in several videos and in nearly every major skateboard publication, including Thrasher Magazine, SLAP and Lowcard.  These days, though, my most enjoyable sessions are with the kids… watching them acquire new skills, learn tricks and gain confidence.
