LAUREN BRUKETTA | INSTRUCTOR
I grew up in Southern California and started skateboarding when I was eight years old. It was not until I moved to Colorado to attend CU Boulder that I started skating parks. Colorado not only offers some amazing transition skate spots, but it is also home to an amazing and diverse community of skateboarders. I'm extremely proud of the community we have and consider myself very lucky to have the opportunity to contribute to it through Square State Skate.

I am about to enter my second year teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies in Federal Heights, but have also had the pleasure of teaching high school history, 3rd grade literacy, and K-8 special education. I love what I do and that I get to work hands-on with kids in a number of different environments to promote growth, empowerment, and community!
I have degrees in History and Biological Anthropology, so ask me about drop-ins, historical figures, or tarsiers!
